Pharmacy Technician in Plano, TX

A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available in Plano, TX, supporting a behavioral health clinic near Hwy 75 and Legacy. This temp-to-perm position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately
• Perform data entry related to prescriptions and patient information
• Manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
• Provide prior authorization support
• Handle patient phone inquiries and deliver excellent customer service within the clinic setting

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment such as Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens
• Active and clear Texas Pharmacy Technician license
• National certification through PTCB or NHA required
• Strong empathy and communication skills for working with a behavioral health population
• Spanish-speaking ability is a significant advantage
