Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician | Plano, Texas

Seeking skilled Compounding Pharmacy Technicians for a 13-week contract assignment in Plano, TX. Five positions are available to support a busy pharmacy team specializing in home infusion and prescription compounding. This opportunity involves both morning and evening shifts, providing a flexible schedule to meet operational needs.

Schedule:

• Two shifts: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Three shifts: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies following company policies and state regulations.
• Accurately compound and prepare medications, performing pharmaceutical calculations to ensure correct dosages.
• Label and package medications properly.
• Identify, manage, document, and report medication-related incidents.
• Clean and sanitize pharmacy work surfaces, including laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect pharmacy equipment regularly and report any malfunctions.
• Maintain and document pharmacy temperature logs and cleaning records.
• Support pharmacy organization and regulatory compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
• Certification by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• Intravenous (IV) Certification.
