A Pharmacy Technician role is available in Plano, TX, supporting a closed-door pharmacy within a behavioral health hospital. This position focuses exclusively on dispensing behavioral health medications, operating in a high-volume, streamlined environment that emphasizes reliability and efficiency.

Position Type:

• Contract-to-Hire, full-time, local candidates only
• Start date: November 23rd
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense approximately 350-400 prescriptions daily within a closed-door pharmacy setting
• Operate pharmacy software (Enterprise RX) training provided
• Support hospital medication needs with attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards
• Collaborate with a small pharmacy team comprising one pharmacist and two pharmacy technicians
• Maintain efficient workflows in a high-volume, behavioral health-focused pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum 1+ years retail pharmacy technician experience; 2+ years preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Strong reliability and professionalism, especially given prior behavioral concerns with past staff
