Retail Pharmacy Technician - Portage, Michigan

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with retail experience, looking to advance their career in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment. Working primarily daytime hours, you will contribute to safe and efficient pharmacy operations, supporting patient care and medication dispensing activities.

Location:

• Portage, MI

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am
• Friday shift ends at 6:00 pm
• No weekends initially; weekend shifts may be introduced in the future

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in accurately filling prescriptions and managing medication inventories
• Utilize the Pioneer RX computer system to process and document prescriptions efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service to retail pharmacy patients, addressing questions and concerns
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies
• Support daily pharmacy operations to maintain a smooth workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Michigan
• Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting
• Familiarity with the Pioneer RX computer system is a strong plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
