Retail LTC Pharmacy Technician | Portland, Oregon

A pharmacy technician position is available for a contract assignment of 5+ weeks in Portland, OR. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is experienced in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings. The technician will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely distribution of medications while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners accurately and efficiently.
• Provide customers with important information about medication usage and safety.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Support pharmacy staff in daily operational tasks to ensure smooth workflow.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours/day)

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.
• Experience in retail pharmacy operations.
• Experience with long-term care pharmacy preferred.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient care.
