A Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Portland, OR, on a contract basis. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by accurately distributing medications and providing essential information to customers regarding their prescribed drugs. The position focuses on delivering excellent customer service within a pharmacy environment serving both retail and long-term care patients.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Assist customers by offering accurate information about medication usage
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
  • Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Attention to detail in handling prescriptions and medication distribution
