Travel Inpatient Pharmacy Technician | Richland Center, Wisconsin

This opportunity focuses on providing pharmacy technician expertise within an inpatient hospital setting. The role calls for an experienced technician to manage key pharmacy operations, ensuring patient safety and medication accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Restocking Pyxis cabinets efficiently and checking for outdated medications.
• Managing medication inventory including ordering, receiving shipments, and monitoring storage temperatures.
• Preparing sterile products, including chemotherapy medications, while maintaining cleanroom standards.
• Entering accurate medication charges in the system.
• Performing daily cleanroom cleaning and following strict sterile compounding protocols.
• Supporting other pharmacy-related duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy technician background.
• Solid experience in sterile compounding and preparation of sterile products.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with Pyxis automation systems.
• Current and valid Wisconsin pharmacy technician license.

Location:

• Richland Center, Wisconsin

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts (8 or 10-hour options).
• Every fourth weekend from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
