Pharmacy Technician - Richmond, IN

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations within a medical center setting. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM, on a contract basis that is expected to last at least eight weeks with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations.
• Perform data entry related to prescriptions and pharmacy records.
• Accurately fill prescriptions and manage inventory.
• Handle cash transactions and customer checkout.
• Utilize the New Leaf computer system for processing and record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Indiana Pharmacy Technician license.
• Minimum of one year of recent pharmacy technician experience.
• Proficient in pharmacy workflow and prescription handling.
• Comfortable using pharmacy computer systems, ideally New Leaf.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
