Location:

• Riverview, FL

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret sig codes and select appropriate products to process prescription refills accurately
• Conduct data entry and insurance verification, resolving any insurance rejections promptly
• Prepare, label, and package medications for pharmacist review and approval
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and manage medication returns
• Respond to inbound and outbound patient calls as well as prescriber inquiries professionally
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and CCS compliance protocols throughout all duties

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Current Virginia state pharmacy technician license and PTCB certification are mandatory
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively
