Hospital Retail Pharmacy Technician in Rogers, AR
This position offers an opportunity to contribute as a Pharmacy Technician within a behavioral health environment, supporting a dedicated pharmacy team. Scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM over a 13-week contract, this role is tailored to individuals with a background in inpatient or retail pharmacy settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill medication orders to support patient care.
- Deliver medications to medication rooms and manage inventory stocking.
- Receive and verify daily warehouse orders, reconcile invoices, and process recalls.
- Assist with medication room audits and provide other supportive tasks to pharmacists.
Desired Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician experience in either inpatient or retail settings.
- Familiarity with Omnicell automation is advantageous, though training will be provided.
- Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Arkansas.
- National certification such as PTCB or NHA required.
- Comfortable using HCS order entry system; training available as needed.
