IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Sapulpa, OK

A Pharmacy Technician role is available in a home infusion environment, offering a 16-week contract to hire opportunity in Sapulpa, OK. This position operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable daytime schedule.

Responsibilities include accurately filling prescriptions and preparing intravenous admixtures and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) solutions in compliance with USP 797 clean room guidelines. The technician will work closely under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepackage medications following regulatory standards. Collaboration with the Pharmacist will extend to final prescription checks, medication packaging, and facilitating prompt and accurate delivery to customers. Additional duties involve partnering with Pharmacy Management to maintain inventory controls, including receiving stock, rotating medications, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts. The role also involves working with the Billing Supervisor to input prescription data for reimbursement processing.
