Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician | Schertz, Texas

This opportunity is ideal for experienced Pharmacy Technicians specializing in home infusion and compounding. Multiple positions are available for a 13-week contract in Schertz, TX, with flexible shift options including early morning and evening schedules.

Schedule/Hours:

• 1 position: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 23 positions: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound, prepare, and process prescriptions in compliance with company policies and state regulations.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and supplies.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify correct dosages.
• Properly label and package compounded medications.
• Identify, document, and report medication-related incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pharmacy work surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect equipment; report malfunctions or defects promptly.
• Maintain pharmacy temperature logs, cleaning records, and assist with overall pharmacy organization and compliance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB).
• IV certification required.
