A mail order compounding pharmacy in Chattanooga seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician with sterile compounding expertise to join their fast-paced team. This role emphasizes accuracy and adherence to safety and regulatory standards, making it an excellent opportunity for Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT) experienced in sterile compounding.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounds following pharmacy procedures, USP guidelines, and safety standards
• Assist in preparing medications for mail order fulfillment with attention to detail
• Accurately label, package, and document all compounded medications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of compounding areas to ensure compliance
• Support pharmacists and pharmacy staff in daily operational workflow
• Adhere to all state, federal, and pharmacy regulations governing compounding and dispensing

Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential mandatory
• Proven sterile compounding experience required
• Previous experience in mail order or compounding pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work 2nd shift Monday through Friday
• Professional demeanor and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
