Pharmacy Technician - Spring, Texas

This position offers an opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to contribute expertise in prescriber verification and credentialing within a pharmacy setting. The role involves ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations by thoroughly verifying physician and prescriber credentials and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify physician and prescriber licensure, credentials, and prescribing authority using approved state and federal databases.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical credentialing records, utilizing pharmacy management systems and customer relationship management systems.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with pharmacy and healthcare regulatory standards related to prescriber verification.

Qualifications:

• Possess a clear and active pharmacy technician license in Texas.
• Minimum of one (1) year of pharmacy technician experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience performing prescriber verification, including verifying prescriber licensure, credentials, DEA registration, and regulatory compliance within a pharmacy or healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
