Hospital Retail Pharmacy Technician | Springdale, Arkansas

Support the pharmacy team in a behavioral health setting as a Pharmacy Technician during daytime hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for a 13-week contract. This role focuses on medication order fulfillment, inventory management, and assisting pharmacists with various tasks to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

Location: Springdale, AR
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders
• Deliver medications to medication rooms and manage stock inventory
• Receive daily warehouse shipments, reconcile invoices, and process medication recalls
• Assist with medication room audits and other pharmacist-supportive duties

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience as a pharmacy technician in either inpatient or retail settings
• Familiarity with Omnicell automation is beneficial; on-site training for Omnicell installation beginning 7/20 will be provided
• Proficiency in HCS order entry system preferred, with training available
• Valid Arkansas pharmacy technician license required
• National certification through PTCB or NHA

This position offers valuable experience in a behavioral health pharmacy environment, working closely with a small pharmacy team including 1.2 pharmacist full-time equivalents. Training for specialized systems and technology will be provided to ensure success.
