Per Diem Retail Pharmacy Technician in Sterling, VA

A retail pharmacy technician position is available for a per diem assignment from June 22nd through July 11th. This role requires proficiency with the PioneerRx system, as the covering pharmacist will not have system expertise, making your knowledge essential for smooth pharmacy operations.

Location:

• Sterling, VA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM 6 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM 1 PM
• Sundays: Closed
• Initial training provided from June 22nd to June 24th

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications using PioneerRx software
• Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficient customer service
• Maintain prescription records and comply with all regulatory guidelines
• Provide exceptional support to customers and staff during peak and off-peak hours

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, specifically in retail settings
• Strong working knowledge of the PioneerRx pharmacy management system (required)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
