LTC Mail Order Pharmacy Technician | Strongsville, Ohio

Pharmacy Technician Mid Shift (10am6pm) | 13-Week Contract

A pharmacy technician role is available supporting long-term care and mail order pharmacy environments. This position offers an opportunity to work under the guidance of a Registered Pharmacist in a fast-paced and regulated setting.

Location: Strongsville, OH
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm
• Every other Saturday, 12pm to 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions, prepare non-sterile compounds, and IV admixtures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist the Pharmacist in final checks of prescriptions, including verifying medication and packaging before dispensing.
• Coordinate timely and accurate delivery of medication to customers.
• Support inventory management by receiving, rotating stock, and maintaining proper documentation of lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workspace and ensure equipment calibration and safety under the supervision of the Technician Supervisor.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Experience in long-term care and mail order pharmacy settings is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with IV compounding processes preferred.
• Ability to follow strict pharmacy regulations and quality standards.

This is a 13-week contract assignment offering the chance to work in a specialized area of pharmacy with a supportive team. The mid-day shift and scheduled weekend coverage provide a structured yet dynamic work rhythm.
