Two Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician positions are available for a 13-week contract assignment in Sugar Land, TX. These roles involve precise compounding and preparation of medications within a home infusion pharmacy setting, supporting pharmacists in delivering quality patient care.

Schedule:

• One position: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• One position: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound, prepare, and process prescriptions accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies, state regulations, and safety standards.
• Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify correct dosages.
• Label and package medications appropriately.
• Participate in monitoring, documenting, and reporting medication-related incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pharmacy work surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect and report pharmacy equipment malfunctions.
• Document temperature logs, cleaning records, and assist with pharmacy organization and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas.
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• IV Certification required for sterile compounding.
