Inpatient Pharmacy Technician - Sun Prairie, WI

A 26-week contract opportunity is available for three skilled Inpatient/IV Pharmacy Technicians to support hospital inpatient pharmacy operations. Positions are based in Sun Prairie, WI, with a start date of November 26.

Work Schedule:

• Two Overnight shifts from 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., working four 10-hour shifts per week, including weekend rotation.
• One Day shift from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., working five 8-hour shifts per week, including weekend rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in a hospital inpatient setting.
• Perform sterile compounding of intravenous (IV) medications following established protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure timely delivery of medications.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in inpatient pharmacy settings.
• Proven experience with sterile IV compounding is essential.
• Possession of a current Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license.
