Pharmacy Technician | Sun Valley, Nevada

This opportunity is for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support outpatient pharmacy operations across multiple medical office locations. The role requires flexibility to float between three facilities, providing vital pharmacy services to patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Location: Multiple outpatient facilities in Reno and Sparks, NV
Schedule:

• 8-hour variable shifts
• Weekdays: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Weekends at select locations: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break)
• Facility-specific hours:
  • Del Monte and Ion: MondayFriday (8 AM7 PM) and SaturdaySunday (9 AM5:30 PM)
  • Fifth Street: MondayFriday (8 AM7 PM), no weekends

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent preferred
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Floating Requirement: Must be able to float between all three sites

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense outpatient prescriptions following established protocols
• Assist pharmacists in managing inventory and maintaining medication records
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers in a courteous and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and organizational policies
• Support pharmacy operations across three facilities based on scheduling needs

Qualifications:

• Valid Nevada Pharmacy Technician license required
• Minimum of 6 months retail or outpatient pharmacy technician experience
• Ability to work variable shifts including weekends at certain locations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Willingness and ability to float among multiple sites

This contract opportunity offers valuable experience in outpatient pharmacy services with potential for permanent placement. Facilities observe holidays on December 25th and January 1st (closed with no additional time off).
