Pharmacy Technician - Troy, New York

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support the filling operations within a long-term care (LTC) mail order environment. This role is primarily warehouse-focused, ideal for a reliable individual with a background in retail or warehouse settings who seeks to grow into a leadership position within the filling department. The role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with potential for advancement.

Location:

• Troy, NY

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• Four day shifts: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• One second shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill pharmacy orders in a high-volume mail order setting
• Support inventory management and order entry processes
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards within the warehouse environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the filling department

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience
• Order entry experience strongly preferred
• Pharmacy technician license is a plus but not required
• Previous experience in warehouse or retail environments is beneficial
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to embrace new challenges
