This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Pharmacy Technician interested in gaining valuable experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting. The position is based in Alamogordo, NM, with a start date as soon as possible. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with the potential for extension.

Schedule:

  • Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 8:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (rotating schedule, working every 3rd weekend)

Alamogordo, NM 88310

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for inpatient use
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
  • Support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license
  • Previous inpatient experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Willingness to work a rotating weekend schedule
  • Able to adapt and learn quickly in a hospital pharmacy setting
