Outpatient Pharmacy Technician | Upper Darby, Pennsylvania

A full-time Pharmacy Technician position is available in a fast-paced outpatient/retail pharmacy setting focused on high volume prescription processing. The role operates Monday through Friday during the first shift, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, working 8.5-hour shifts. This opportunity is located in Philadelphia, PA, and is a temp-to-hire assignment with consideration for permanent placement after 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and refill prescriptions in a high-volume outpatient/retail environment
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Support central fill operations to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a high-volume outpatient or retail pharmacy setting
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Local candidates only due to the nature of the assignment
