Outpatient Pharmacy Technician | Upper Darby, Pennsylvania

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting. This role requires expertise in hospital outpatient and retail pharmacy technician functions, focused on providing efficient and accurate support in medication dispensing and inventory management.

Location:
Pharmacy operations based in Lancaster, PA, with an additional site in Philadelphia, PA for related activities.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Shift length: 8.5 hours
• No weekends or on-call responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail environment
• Current PTCB and/or CPhT certification required
• Compliance with Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician registration requirements effective June 28th
• Ability to handle high prescription volume with meticulous attention to detail
• Skilled in hospital outpatient pharmacy procedures is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and prepare prescription orders for outpatient pharmacy customers
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines
• Assist pharmacists with daily operations including patient interactions and insurance processing
• Uphold a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment to support workflow efficiency
