Home Infusion Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Upper Darby, PA

Located in West Chester, PA, this pharmacy technician position focuses on infusion pharmacy within an inpatient hospital setting. The role requires certified pharmacy technicians (CPHT/PTCB) with experience in home infusion and inpatient pharmacy operations. This opportunity is a temp-to-hire assignment offering a structured weekday schedule with rotating start times.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Rotation between 7:00 AM 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM 4:30 PM shifts
• Each shift is 8.5 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense intravenous medications for home infusion patients under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with inpatient pharmacy operations, maintaining accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care objectives
• Document all pharmacy activities following regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT/PTCB) required
• Prior experience in infusion pharmacy and inpatient hospital pharmacy preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
