Pharmacy Technician in Vineland, NJ

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available with a focus in long-term care (LTC) mail order environments. This contract-to-hire role offers a consistent day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional weekend hours. The initial engagement is for approximately 9 weeks, providing a pathway to direct hire for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

• Filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Entering prescription data into the computer system to ensure proper dispensing and reimbursement processes.
• Working under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepackage medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Assisting the Pharmacist in the final verification and packaging of prescriptions for delivery.
• Supporting inventory management activities, such as receiving, rotating stock, and tracking lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and assisting with equipment checks for calibration and safety.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician in a relevant setting.
• Long-term care (LTC) experience is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with IV preparation or sterile compounding is a plus.
• Valid New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License is required.
