LTC Mail Order Pharmacy Technician | Warren, Michigan

This opportunity is for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support a long-term care mail order pharmacy environment on a rotating days/evenings shift. The position is a 7-week contract in Warren, MI, with four openings available.

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous (IV) medications with precision
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data accurately for reimbursement processing
• Assist under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist by prepackaging medications according to regulatory standards
• Support the Pharmacist in final prescription checks, including labeling and packaging post-final review
• Participate in inventory management, including receiving, rotating stock, and recording lot numbers and expiration dates
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and meets safety standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience required
• Michigan Pharmacy Technician License is mandatory
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred
• Sterile compounding and IV preparation experience considered a strong plus
