A direct hire opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician specializing in home infusion services. This role requires a dedicated professional to perform pharmacy technical and clerical duties under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accurate prescription preparation and delivery within a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, label, package, and stage prescriptions accurately using the CareTend system.
• Process prescription batches, input data precisely, and generate necessary labels, pick lists, and shipping documentation.
• Collaborate with intake, billing, and field teams to verify insurance authorizations and ensure timely, accurate prescription delivery.
• Manage inventory by receiving drug and supply deliveries, handling returns, and organizing outbound shipments.
• Conduct quality assurance tasks while upholding a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to remain current with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid New York Pharmacy Technician License mandatory.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy settings.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
