A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Kennett Square, PA. This role focuses on ensuring precise sterile and non-sterile compounding processes, adhering strictly to USP standards and regulatory guidelines, in a fast-paced environment supporting patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain compliance with USP and regulatory guidelines through thorough training and competency evaluations in sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Accurately read, interpret, and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision, following established formulations.
• Assist in preparing formula log sheets and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards.
• Measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications with precision and attention to detail.
• Manage inventory, maintaining adequate levels of ingredients, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support batch compounding, label products, and verify log entries for accuracy.
• Ensure timely preparation and fulfillment of prescriptions for shipping or patient pickup.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of compounded products and related activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of recent pharmacy technician experience.
• Proven sterile compounding experience is required.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, with shifts available 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM.
