Pharmacy Technician in West Chester, PA

Join a specialty compounding pharmacy as a Laboratory Labeling Specialist located near Kennett Square, PA, with a contract-to-hire opportunity lasting 13 weeks. This role is ideal for candidates with pharmacy technician skills who have experience or interest in pharmaceutical production and labeling.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, print, and apply prescription, auxiliary, shipping, and batch identification labels with precision.
• Verify label information against production documents to ensure accuracy prior to application.
• Confirm all required regulatory details are correctly displayed on product labels.
• Inspect labels for accuracy, legibility, alignment, completeness, and proper placement.
• Prepare completed prescriptions for final pharmacist verification.
• Assemble packaging materials and apply tamper-evident seals when necessary.
• Package finished products following internal procedures to maintain product integrity during shipment.
• Communicate labeling discrepancies, documentation errors, or quality issues to supervising pharmacist or manager without delay.
• Assist with label reconciliation and remove damaged or incorrect labels from circulation.
• Maintain labeling workstations by organizing materials and ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory, packaging, or production environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with labeling, packaging, quality documentation, or inventory management processes is advantageous.
• Knowledge of compounding pharmacy operations and regulated production environments is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
