RPh on the Go is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity with a specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA. This position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role and is ideal for an experienced pharmacy technician with recent sterile compounding experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision
• Follow USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards and established compounding procedures
• Accurately read prescriptions and enter orders into the pharmacy system
• Measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications accurately
• Prepare formula worksheets and maintain required compounding documentation
• Assist with batch compounding, labeling, and verification of log entries
• Maintain accurate records of compounded products and completed work
• Manage inventory of ingredients, equipment, and PPE
• Ensure compounded prescriptions are prepared accurately and on time for shipping or patient pickup
• Participate in required training and competency assessments

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience
• Recent sterile compounding experience REQUIRED
• Familiarity with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Comfortable working in a specialty compounding pharmacy environment
