Retail Pharmacy Tech | Westerville, Ohio

A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract to hire basis. This position offers a full-time day schedule, running Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, for an initial 13-week assignment with potential direct hire opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and enter inbound prescriptions, averaging 200-300 scripts per day
• Assist pharmacists and technician team members in daily operations within a fast-paced retail environment
• Utilize Prime RX software for prescription order entry and management
• Ensure compliance with all state pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
• Maintain organized workstations and support inventory management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician
• Proven experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Active Ohio pharmacy technician license
• Familiarity with Prime RX software is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume prescription processing

• Retail pharmacy with a staff of 5 technicians and 2 pharmacists
• Fast-paced setting with an average daily script volume between 200-300
