Inpatient Pharmacy Tech | Westerville, Ohio

This role seeks certified pharmacy technicians with experience in hospital inpatient settings to support pharmacy operations. The position is based in Westerville, OH, and offers a contract opportunity lasting approximately 13 weeks, starting mid-June.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense inpatient medications following hospital protocols
• Assist with IV medication preparation (preferred)
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to ensure efficient medication distribution
• Utilize Cerner EMR system to document and manage medication orders

Schedule/Hours:

• Two technicians: 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., every other weekend
• Two technicians: 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday overnight shifts

Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with a valid Ohio license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings
• Experience with intravenous (IV) medications is a plus
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is required
