Pharmacy Tech | White Plains, New York

This opportunity is for a skilled Pharmacy Technician working in a closed-door long-term care (LTC) facility. The role operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating weekends, focusing on medication preparation and distribution with a daily volume of approximately 600 prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery to residents.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications, maintaining proper storage standards and monitoring expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records to support compliance and patient safety.
• Utilize Frameworks software system; training available for those unfamiliar.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure efficient medication management.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.
• New York State Pharmacy Technician license preferred, but not required.
• PTCB certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment managing a high prescription volume.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and documentation.
