Pharmacy Technician | White Plains, New York

A Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in a closed-door, long-term care facility in Bardonia, New York. This direct hire role offers the chance to contribute to the preparation and distribution of medications to residents within a high-volume environment, processing approximately 600 prescriptions per day. Candidates will work primarily with Frameworks software (training provided), supporting efficient pharmacy operations in a supportive team setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging formats such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery to residents.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while maintaining proper storage and monitoring expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records in compliance with facility standards.
• Work Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with rotating weekends to support pharmacy continuity.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a production or long-term care environment.
• New York State Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to learn and efficiently use Frameworks software; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and patient safety.

Location: Bardonia, New York (Long-term care closed-door facility)
