This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician with retail and outpatient hospital experience to support a busy pharmacy environment. The role is based in Winamac, IN, and is a contract assignment lasting approximately 8 to 13 weeks.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Every other Saturday rotation

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate order entry using Pioneer RX (preferred experience)
  • Ring up customers and manage transactions efficiently at the pharmacy counter
  • Support daily pharmacy operations in an outpatient hospital setting
  • Assist with maintaining inventory and ensuring proper workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Previous pharmacy technician experience, particularly in retail and outpatient hospital environments
  • Proficiency or experience with Pioneer RX software is preferred
  • Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License is required
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
