Pharmacy Technician in Yonkers, NY

A day shift opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician at a closed-door long-term care facility located in Yonkers, NY. This direct hire position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with rotating weekend shifts. The role supports a high-volume pharmacy filling approximately 600 prescriptions daily, utilizing the Frameworks software system (training provided).

Key responsibilities include preparing medications in blister packs and unit-dose packaging to ensure timely delivery to residents. The technician will assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates. Maintaining accurate patient and medication records is essential to support safe and effective pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician
• NY State Pharmacy Technician License preferred but not required
• PTCB certification preferred but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production pharmacy environment
• Willingness to learn and use Frameworks software system
