Staff Pharmacist - Arlington, Tennessee

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert pharmaceutical care within a specialty pharmacy focused on complex conditions such as hemophilia, immune deficiencies, and autoimmune disorders. The position is based in Arlington, TN, with a contract-to-hire arrangement, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive clinical patient management for individuals requiring infused medications, including factor replacement therapies and novel agents like emicizumab.
• Demonstrate therapy-specific expertise in managing a wide range of subcutaneous and intravenous infusions.
• Educate patients and their families on medication administration, side effect management, adherence, and safe handling at home.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.
• Partner with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance complexities, secure prior authorizations, and access financial assistance programs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee pharmacist license required.
• Experience with CareTend software preferred; training will be provided if needed.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
