Remote Pharmacist - Idaho Licensed
RPh on the Go has partnered with a growing pharmacy operation to hire Remote Pharmacists for a 13-week assignment with an ASAP start. This role is approximately 50% prescription verification and 50% patient consultation, making it a great fit for pharmacists who enjoy both clinical review and direct patient interaction.
Shift: Daytime schedules available between 8:00 AM7:00 PM EST, including 84, 95, 106, and 117. Preferred shifts are considered but not guaranteed.
What Youll Do
- Complete pharmacist verification of prescriptions in a high-volume setting
- Provide medication counseling and clinical support by phone
- Review drug interactions, contraindications, dosing, and therapeutic appropriateness
- Contact patients regarding new prescriptions, refills, and medication questions
- Work with prescriber offices to resolve prescription issues
- Assist with prescription transfers and support timely dispensing
Requirements
- Idaho Pharmacist license or willingness to register for licensure immediately
- Retail, specialty, or mail-order pharmacy experience preferred
- New grads are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and patient-facing skills
- Must be comfortable with technology and remote pharmacy systems
- Must be comfortable handling frequent inbound and outbound calls
