Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Auburn, KS
A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide high-quality outpatient care with a flexible per diem schedule. This role offers the chance to contribute to patient health and medication management in a community setting, working one day a week plus every third Saturday.
Location:
- Auburn, KS
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM 6:00 PM (one designated day)
- Saturday: 8:30 AM 1:00 PM (every third Saturday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify low volume prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Conduct patient counseling to provide medication guidance and support
- Manage typical outpatient pharmacy duties including dispensing and medication review
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practices
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Kansas Pharmacist License required
- Prior experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
- Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare team members
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and high standards
