A closed-door Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Topeka, KS, seeks a Staff Pharmacist to support quality assurance and medication management efforts. This role offers an excellent opportunity for pharmacists with a background or interest in LTC pharmacy, providing ongoing work primarily on Thursdays and Fridays.

Location:

Auburn, KS (work performed in Topeka, KS LTC pharmacy)

Schedule & Hours:

Thursdays and Fridays
Shift: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quality assurance (QA) activities to maintain high standards in medication distribution
Perform cycle checking to ensure accuracy and compliance in prescriptions
Verify medication orders and prescriptions for correctness and completeness

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active and clear Kansas Pharmacist license with no negative history
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience, LTC experience preferred but pharmacists with retail or newer graduates will also be considered
Ability to start work immediately
