Locations: Aurora (Peoria Area) & Wheat Ridge, CO
Schedule: Varying schedule between Monday - Saturday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Duration: 13+ Week Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Float Pharmacist to provide pharmacist coverage between outpatient pharmacy locations in the Aurora/Peoria and Wheat Ridge areas. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient-focused, and comfortable working in multiple pharmacy settings.

Responsibilities

• Verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions accurately
• Conduct drug utilization reviews and identify potential medication concerns
• Counsel patients regarding medication use, side effects, and adherence
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management and medication stocking
• Respond to incoming phone calls and patient inquiries
• Process pharmacy transactions and support daily workflow
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and leadership
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing
• At least 1 year of retail, ambulatory, or outpatient pharmacy experience
• Ability to travel between Aurora (Peoria area) and Wheat Ridge locations
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
• Epic Willow experience preferred
