Hospital Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - Baker, LA

This opportunity is designed for a Pharmacist experienced in inpatient hospital settings seeking a 2nd shift position. For 13 weeks, with potential for extension or direct hire, candidates will contribute to patient care in a 131-bed inpatient hospital environment, managing 60 to 70 active beds daily.

Location: Baker, LA
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage medication distribution and order entry using Epic and Pyxis systems
• Ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care in an inpatient hospital setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Louisiana
• Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy practice required
• Experience with Pyxis automation system is a plus; training available
• Experience with Epic order entry system is a plus; training available
