A Staff Pharmacist role is available that offers an opportunity to work 24-30 hours per week with a schedule that supports work-life balance. This position is contract-based and involves providing vital pharmacy services within professional and regulatory standards.

Location: Belleville, IL

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
• Sunday: Emergency orders only (on-call from 7:00 AM 7:00 PM; on-call pay applies)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately filling, checking, and verifying prescriptions
• Patient counseling and providing professional guidance
• Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and company policies
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
• Managing emergency orders during on-call Sunday shifts

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Illinois Pharmacy License is required
• PharmD degree preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software highly desirable
• Demonstrated knowledge of retail pharmacy operations
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
