Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist | Belvidere, Illinois

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position in an ambulatory outpatient retail environment. This per diem role offers daytime shifts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for approximately 6 weeks, with a focus on providing excellent pharmacy care in a busy setting.

Belvidere, IL

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Possible Saturday shifts as needed

Responsibilities:

• Manage prescription processing and dispensing with a daily script volume of 200-250 on weekdays and around 100 on weekends
• Use Epic Willow for order entry and pharmacy workflow management
• Counsel patients on medication use and provide pharmacy services in accordance with retail standards
• Work efficiently within an ambulatory outpatient retail pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois pharmacist license required
• Retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Experience with Epic Willow is a plus; training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
