Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist | Bensalem, Pennsylvania

A healthcare organization seeks a dedicated Home Infusion Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis for an assignment lasting approximately 8+ weeks. This role operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, supporting low volume infusion services with one pharmacy technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized sterile medications such as IV fluids in a controlled, aseptic environment following stringent safety guidelines.
• Verify the accuracy and quality of sterile preparations to meet or exceed USP and USP-NF standards.
• Oversee and assist pharmacy technicians in daily operations related to home infusion services.
• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness and proper functioning of cleanroom equipment.
• Perform final inspections on compounded sterile products to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience, specifically in home infusion settings.
• Proficient computer skills to document and manage pharmacy operations efficiently.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and sterile compounding regulations.
