Long Term Care Staff Pharmacist in Berryton, KS

A closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Topeka, KS, seeks a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to support their team on an ongoing basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized setting focused on providing quality pharmaceutical care to long-term care residents.

Schedule and Hours:

• Thursdays and Fridays each week
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM shifts

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards
• Conduct cycle checking to maintain accuracy in medication dispensing
• Verify prescriptions and medication orders to guarantee safety and efficacy

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Kansas Pharmacist License in good standing (no negative history)
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience; long-term care experience preferred but recent graduates and those with retail pharmacy backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Ability to start immediately to meet operational needs
