Retail Staff Pharmacist in Bloomsburg, PA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist skilled in retail pharmacy operations, supporting multiple locations in Pennsylvania. This ongoing contract caters to candidates with a strong foundation in pharmacy practice and experience using RX 30 software systems.

Location: Bloomsburg, PA, with floating duties between Shenandoah and Fredericksburg, PA, offering the possibility of additional hours.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Environment: Retail pharmacy with an average volume of 500 prescriptions per day. The pharmacy staff includes 2 pharmacists and 1 to 2 pharmacy technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and review prescriptions using RX 30 software.
• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and counseling to customers.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists to maintain smooth operations.
• Support multiple retail locations as a floater, ensuring consistent patient care and pharmacy services.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Pennsylvania.
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings.
• Familiarity with RX 30 software is highly desirable.
