Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Brooklyn, NY

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available for those with experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, licensed to practice in New York. This role focuses on ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications while providing excellent patient care.

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule:

• November 20th to 24th, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• November 27th, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements
• Provide patient counseling and medication therapy management as needed
• Utilize the Enterprise RX computer system to manage prescriptions and maintain records
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacy License is required
• Previous experience as a staff pharmacist within a community or hospital setting
• Familiarity with Enterprise RX or similar pharmacy systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of prescriptions efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a per diem (PRN) opportunity for candidates able to work the specified dates and hours. Signed agreements will be required. Competitive compensation at $65 per hour is provided.
