Long Term Care Pharmacist

Assignment Timeline: Temp- to - perm

Hours: 40 hours per week. 

Pharmacy Hours: Monday through Friday 8am 6pm, Saturday 8am-4pm and Sunday 8am-3pm

Operating systems: QS1, Docutrack and PCC

Duties include:
Checking orders entered by a data entry technician for skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities and hospice.

Checking packaged medications which are blister packed. Checking sterile and non-sterile medications.

Answering phone calls from nursing facilities, hospice nurses and physicians. Answer clinical questions.

Counting control substances, then documenting in the perpetual inventory.

Checking emergency boxes.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
Registered pharmacist licensed in the state of Pennsylvania in good standing.
Sitting, Standing, fine motor skills, visual acuity. Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
1+ year pharmacist experience (LTC Preferred)
